Meditation Heart-Brain Coherence

“The state in which a brain, a whole person and also a human community uses the least energy is called coherence. This is achieved when everything fits together perfectly.” Gerald Hüther

Our brain strives for coherence; we perceive incoherence as stressful and uncomfortable.

Now, coherence is not a permanent state, because there is always something in life that challenges us and initially throws us off balance.

We now know that the heart has its own intelligence. And it has now also been proven that there is actually a heart brain , which consists of over 40,000 neurons.

Our heart and our brain are connected to each other via nerve pathways, with over 90 percent of the nerve fibers leading from the heart to the brain. This means that it constantly sends information in the form of nerve impulses and hormones into our organism. The heart's vibration reaches every cell in our body with the pulse wave. The resulting coherence spreads electromagnetically from the heart throughout the body.

Our heart has been proven to have the strongest magnetic field in our body - up to 5000 times stronger than the field generated by our brain. The magnetic field of the heart radiates up to 3 m and influences and synchronizes other magnetic fields (heart, brain). The more a person has high heart coherence, the more coherent their brain works. This leads to a better connection between heart and mind, through which both complement and strengthen each other.

Likewise, a person who has high heart coherence can positively influence the hearts of other people.
